Creative Marketing Lead | Producer | Editor

Born and raised in Kansas, I discovered my love for film in my high school broadcast courses, followed by my acceptance into the very first class of Blue Valley's Center for Advanced Professional Studies for filmmaking. It was during my CAPS course that I partnered with a local bank to create a spoof movie trailer promoting a new credit card. Upon completing that project, I had a lightbulb moment – THIS is what I am meant to do, trailers are my happy place.

I went on to the University of Kansas, pursuing a degree in Film and Media Studies. Impatient to move to LA and begin working towards my dreams, I packed in some incredible internships, graduated a year early and did just that.

Shortly after arriving on the West Coast, I began working as an editor at Entertainment Studios. After spending a year editing court television shows, I got an offer to work as a production coordinator at Studio City. This felt like a firm step towards the entertainment marketing world that I had been dreaming of. So, I quickly accepted and began my role coordinating on-air promos for Live with Kelly and Michael. That role gave me a much stronger understanding of each step involved with AV creative, whether it be digitizing media, directing voice over sessions or QCing and delivering, I wore every hat in the process. Within this setting, I grew into being a Junior Editor and Associate Producer on that same account. This gave me a taste of both of my preferred routes within the business and pushed me more towards producing. When the opportunity to branch out of daytime television promos and veer into the trailer world presented itself - I made the jump to Trailer Park. I began working in television and new media marketing and production for about 2.5 years. From there, I accepted a role at Buddha Jones to continue my growth and joined another wildly talented team of people. This led me to delve deeper into the creative, gaining much more hands-on producing experience in various television shows and streaming services.

In the chaos that was 2020, I saw an opportunity on the HBO Max Originals Marketing team and could not resist joining a previous client in her endeavor. I’ve been given this chance to expand my knowledge and expertise into not only the AV world that I’ve always loved, but also key art, digital display, out-of-home and so much more. The team we have built and are continuing to form is one that I believe in full heartedly and am incredibly proud to be a part of. I look so forward to the future, continuing to shape this workflow, this brand and so many memorable title launches.
